Filemon and Bonifacy
Cats Filemon and Bonifacy have settled in front of the Museum of Cinematography at 1 pl. Zwycięstwa. Bonifacy stands beside a ball of wool, while curious Filemon watches him from the top of a nearby wall – playfully swapping places typical of them from the cartoon with his older companion. The characters from The Enchanted Pencil
You will find Piotruś and his dog from Zaczarowanego ołówka at 18 Traugutta Street, in front of the entrance to the Łódź Cultural Centre. The sculpture directly references the animation's plot – the boy is drawing with an enchanted pencil on the wall of the building, while the dog appears to be emerging from the drawing he has created. A dwarf is also hidden in the scene; in the cartoon, he supplied Piotruś with successive enchanted pencils.
Plastuś
Plastuś awaits the youngest explorers in Henryk Sienkiewicz Park. He holds a school bell in one hand and rests the other on his diary, referring to the world known from Plastusiowego pamiętnika. The location is not accidental either – the figure was placed near a school and playground, giving the schoolboy character a very fitting home.
The Three Bears
You will meet Misię, Bartek and Kuba, the characters from the series Trzy misie, by the Open-Air Museum of Wooden Architecture in Łódź, on the side of Milionowa Street. The newest character on the Fairytale Łódź trail is Moomin, whose sculpture was unveiled on 25 April 2026 at the entrance to the Botanical Garden from Krzemieniecka Street. The location was chosen for a reason – the greenery surrounding it refers to Moominvalley, known from Tove Jansson's stories. The character's presence on the Łódź trail also has a film-related justification: in the 1970s, the Se-ma-for studio produced the puppet series Opowiadania Muminków.
